Tim Ferry, Director
Position Senior Vice President - Operations Division for J&J WWS.
34+ Years – Tim Ferry serves as the Senior Vice President of our Operations Division, responsible for Government services contracting and military facility operations, maintenance, repair, and alteration. He joined J&J in 1985 where he continues to oversee both Firm-Fixed Price and Cost-Plus Award Fee contracts for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services. He oversees complex phase-in operations and was integral in the transition of our BOS contracts at West Sound Naval Base – Washington State and British Columbia (which comprises Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), WA; Naval Hospital (NAVHOSP) Bremerton; Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock; and numerous other range testing facilities, waterborne testing range facilities, personnel transfer facilities, and recreational facilities) and Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) – China Lake, CA. Tim Ferry is a member of the board of directors for the J&J Germany GmbH since 2019.
Cory Akin, Director
Position Chief Financial Officer J&J WWS.
Cory Akin serves as J&J’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of our Finance/Accounting Support Office. He recently joined J&J in September 2020. He is responsible for managing the financial strategy and cost accounting functions, partnering with Government military agencies across commands, units, and operations on strategic long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as pricing analysis. Cory becomes J&J’s second CFO where he will manage J&J’s fiscal activities, adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) established by regulatory entities. He has his BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University – Mays School of Business. Prior to joining the J&J team, Cory served in ever increasing roles of responsibility in publicly traded Aerospace and Defense firms. He brings to J&J over 30 years of Government contracting experience. Cory Akin is a member of the board of directors for the J&J Germany GmbH since 2021.
Michael Bayer, CEO
Position Chief Executing Officer
Mr. Bayer has worked for US government agencies in Europe for over 24 years, including 8 years as CEO. During this time, he met the company owner of J&J WWS Johnny Voudouris and his management team, for which he worked as a subcontractor for 5 years. Mr. Bayer started his career 1996 as a qualified engineer / Architect at Bilfinger Berger AG in Mannheim. 2007 he was announced as a senior site manager with procuration. 2012 an appointment as a member of the board of directors of the Bilfinger Government Services followed and 2013 he was promoted as CEO. Mr. Bayer was leading the company BBGS as CEO until December 2019. 01.January 2020 he joined the J&J Germany GmbH as CEO.
Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Georg Rausch, COO
Position Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Rausch has worked in the construction sector for US government agencies across Europe for over 18 years. After his career as an officer in the German Armed Forces, Mr. Rausch worked as a construction manager for several medium-sized companies before he also worked as a construction manager for Bilfinger Berger AG in the US framework contract business in 2002. In 2012 he was appointed senior site manager. After moving to J&J Germany, Dipl.-Ing. Rausch works as COO and authorized representative.
Benjamin Jung, Commercial Manager
Position Commercial Manager
Benjamin Jung has been the commercial manager of J&J Germany GmbH since 2019. Mr. Jung worked for US government agencies for over 9 years.
Jörg Rabung, CMM
Position Contract Maintenance Manager
Mr. Jörg Rabung is working with the U.S. Medical Group of the Army in Landstuhl (LRMC) for over 24 years. He joined J&J Germany GmbH in 2020, as the project manager / CMM for all medical used buildings of the U.S. Army in Germany and Italy.
